Biography:
Superman, debuting in 1939 in DC Comics' *Action Comics* #1, is arguably the most iconic superhero. Born Kal-El on the planet Krypton, his parents sent him to Earth moments before their planet's destruction.
Landing in Smallville, Kansas, he was discovered and raised by farmers Jonathan and Martha Kent, who instilled in him strong moral values and a sense of responsibility. They named him Clark Kent.
As Clark grew, he discovered his superhuman abilities, including flight, super strength, invulnerability, and heat vision. He eventually moved to Metropolis and adopted the persona of Superman, a symbol of hope and justice.
Working as a mild-mannered reporter for the Daily Planet, alongside Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen, Clark hides his true identity. Superman dedicates his life to protecting Earth from threats both terrestrial and extraterrestrial, often battling villains like Lex Luthor, Brainiac, and General Zod.
His unwavering commitment to truth, justice, and the American way (later adapted to truth, justice, and a better tomorrow) has solidified his place as a timeless cultural icon.
