Superman, from the *Gods and Monsters* universe, is a reimagining of the iconic DC Comics character. This version of Superman, whose birth name is Hernan Guerra, first appeared in *Justice League: Gods and Monsters* (2015).
Unlike the traditional Clark Kent/Kal-El, Hernan is the son of General Zod and Lara Lor-Van. He was raised by a poor migrant couple in Mexico after his rocket landed there instead of Smallville.
