The Seventh Doctor, portrayed by Sylvester McCoy, is a complex and manipulative incarnation of the Doctor from the long-running BBC science fiction series, Doctor Who. Taking over from the Sixth Doctor after a regeneration triggered by poisoning, this Doctor initially presented a somewhat clownish and eccentric demeanor, playing the spoons and performing magic tricks.
