Darth Revan is a prominent figure in the Star Wars Legends continuity, specifically within the Old Republic era. A powerful Jedi Knight, Revan played a pivotal role in the Mandalorian Wars, leading the Republic to victory. However, following the war, Revan and their companion Malak ventured into the Unknown Regions, succumbing to the dark side of the Force.
Revan returned as a Sith Lord, leading a Sith Empire against the Republic, igniting the Jedi Civil War. Ultimately, Revan was betrayed by Malak and subsequently captured by the Jedi. Stripped of their memories, Revan was given a new identity and trained as a Jedi, eventually confronting and defeating Malak.
Despite their redemption, Revan's past continued to haunt them. Revan's story is primarily explored in the "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic" video game, which serves as their first appearance.
