Biography:
Darth Revan is a central figure in the Star Wars Expanded Universe, particularly within the "Old Republic" era. His first appearance was in the video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, released in 2003.
Revan began as a powerful and charismatic Jedi Knight who defied the Jedi Order's neutrality during the Mandalorian Wars. Leading a faction of Jedi to aid the Republic, he achieved victory but ventured into the Unknown Regions, encountering the Sith Emperor. Revan fell to the dark side, becoming Darth Revan alongside his companion Darth Malak.
As a Sith Lord, Darth Revan returned to conquer the Republic, launching the Jedi Civil War. However, Malak betrayed him, leaving Revan amnesiac and captured by the Jedi. The Jedi Council manipulated his memories to turn him back to the light side and use him to stop Malak.
After defeating Malak, Revan regained his memories and sought to confront the Sith Emperor. His story extends through the Knights of the Old Republic series and the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic. Revan is known for his strategic brilliance, mastery of both the light and dark sides of the Force, and complex moral ambiguity.
