Scott Lang, portrayed by Paul Rudd, is the Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) Ant-Man. A former electrical engineer and thief, Lang is recruited by Hank Pym to don the Ant-Man suit, which allows him to shrink to microscopic size while increasing his strength.

Lang's first appearance in the MCU was in the movie *Ant-Man* (2015). He becomes entangled in a mission to prevent Pym's shrinking technology from falling into the wrong hands.

Following *Ant-Man*, Lang reappears in *Avengers: Civil War* (2016), where he joins Captain America's team. He also stars in *Ant-Man and the Wasp* (2018), partnering with Hope van Dyne (the Wasp) on a new mission. His shrinking abilities are essential in later MCU events.
