Ant-Man is a Marvel character, primarily known for his ability to shrink to the size of an ant while retaining his human strength, thanks to the Pym Particles.

While several characters have taken on the mantle, the version most prominently featured in the MCU is Scott Lang, portrayed by Paul Rudd. Scott Lang is a former thief recruited by Hank Pym to steal the Ant-Man suit and technology from Pym's former protégé, Darren Cross (Yellowjacket). He becomes a hero, using his abilities to fight alongside the Avengers.

Scott Lang's first appearance as Ant-Man in the MCU was in the 2015 film Ant-Man. The movie follows his training with Pym and Hope van Dyne as he learns to master the Ant-Man suit and stop Cross from weaponizing the technology.
