Biography:
Scott Lang, portrayed by Paul Rudd, is Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A former electrical engineer and ex-convict, Lang is recruited by Hank Pym to become the new Ant-Man.
Pym selects Lang for his criminal past, believing his skills make him suitable for the role. Lang initially uses the Ant-Man suit, which shrinks the wearer to insect size while increasing strength, for a heist.
He later uses his abilities as a hero, becoming an Avenger. He has a daughter named Cassie, who he cares for a great deal. Ant-Man first appears in the MCU in the movie *Ant-Man* (2015).
