Biography:

Ant-Man is a Marvel Comics superhero who possesses the ability to shrink to ant-size, while also increasing in strength. The original Ant-Man is Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym, a brilliant scientist who created the Pym Particles, which allow him to alter his size.

First appearing in *Tales to Astonish* #27 (Comic, Silver Age) in January 1962, Pym initially used his technology for solo adventures. He later developed the ability to communicate with ants through a cybernetic helmet.

Beyond shrinking, Pym used his Pym Particles to grow to giant size, becoming Giant-Man. Over time, he adopted other superhero identities, including Goliath and Yellowjacket, and struggled with mental instability. Pym was a key member of the Avengers and contributed significantly to the team's technology and scientific understanding.
