Scott Lang, portrayed by Paul Rudd in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), is Ant-Man. A former electrical engineer and thief, Lang is recruited by Hank Pym to don the Ant-Man suit, which grants him the ability to shrink to the size of an ant while increasing his strength.
Lang's introduction to the MCU occurs in the 2015 film Ant-Man. Here, he learns to control the suit and use his abilities to combat Darren Cross, who is seeking to weaponize Pym's technology.
