Ant-Man is a superhero persona shared by several characters in Marvel Comics, most notably Hank Pym and Scott Lang.
Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym, a brilliant scientist, is the original Ant-Man. He discovered subatomic particles that allowed him to shrink and grow in size. He created a cybernetic helmet to communicate with ants, becoming a founding member of the Avengers. Pym has also used other superhero identities, including Giant-Man, Goliath, and Yellowjacket.
Scott Lang is a former thief who turned his life around after stealing the Ant-Man suit from Pym. Seeing Lang's potential, Pym allowed him to keep the suit and become the new Ant-Man. Lang is known for his skills in electronics and his dedication to his daughter, Cassie. He eventually becomes a valuable member of the Avengers.
Both Pym and Lang have utilized the Ant-Man technology to fight crime and protect the world, demonstrating the extraordinary abilities derived from altering one's size.
