Scott Lang is a former thief and electrical engineer who becomes the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Ant-Man. Introduced in the 2015 film Ant-Man, Lang is chosen by Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man, to wield the Ant-Man suit and prevent Pym's technology from falling into the wrong hands.

The Ant-Man suit allows Lang to shrink to minuscule sizes while retaining his strength and to communicate with ants. Initially reluctant, Lang embraces his role as a hero, using his skills to assist the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War and later becoming instrumental in defeating Thanos in Avengers: Endgame by venturing into the Quantum Realm.

Lang continues his adventures as Ant-Man in subsequent films, teaming up with Hope van Dyne (the Wasp) in Ant-Man and the Wasp, further exploring the mysteries of the Quantum Realm. Despite his criminal past, Lang's intelligence, resourcefulness, and genuine desire to do good make him a valuable asset to the team.
