Biography:

Scott Lang, portrayed by Paul Rudd in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is Ant-Man. Initially a skilled electrical engineer, Lang turned to burglary after struggling to find employment following a prison sentence for hacking.

His life changed when he encountered Dr. Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man, who recruited Lang to steal the Yellowjacket suit from Pym Technologies' CEO, Darren Cross. Pym saw Lang's potential for good and trained him to use the Ant-Man suit, which allows the wearer to shrink to insect size while maintaining their strength.

Lang's abilities proved crucial in defeating Yellowjacket and later in various battles alongside the Avengers. He fought alongside Captain America in the "Civil War," got stuck in the Quantum Realm, and helped develop time travel for the final battle against Thanos.

A somewhat reluctant hero, Lang balances his superhero duties with his deep desire to be a good father to his daughter, Cassie. He is known for his humor and relatively normal guy perspective compared to other enhanced individuals.
