Black Adam, portrayed by Dwayne Johnson, is a prominent figure in the DC Extended Universe, appearing in the 2022 film Black Adam.
Born Teth-Adam in Kahndaq, he was chosen by the wizard Shazam to receive immense powers, becoming the land's champion. Initially, Adam aimed to liberate his people from slavery.
However, his methods grew increasingly brutal, and he was imprisoned for 5,000 years for his use of dark magic and his tyrannical rule.
Upon his re-emergence, Adam is more of an anti-hero, driven to protect Kahndaq by any means necessary, even if it means clashing with other heroes like the Justice Society.
