Biography:
Scott Lang, portrayed by Paul Rudd, is the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Ant-Man. A former electrical engineer and thief, Lang is recruited by Hank Pym to take on the Ant-Man mantle and use the Ant-Man suit, which allows the user to shrink to minuscule sizes while increasing strength.
Lang's introduction to the MCU occurs in the 2015 film Ant-Man. He initially uses his abilities for heists but soon embraces the role of a hero, fighting alongside the Avengers against threats like Thanos.
His abilities include size alteration, superhuman strength while small, and communication with ants. He later gains access to the Quantum Realm, a dimension outside of space and time, which proves crucial in defeating Thanos in Avengers: Endgame.
Lang has also adopted a new persona in the quantum realm - Vermin Man.
