Biography:

Ant-Man is a Marvel Comics character who first appeared in Tales to Astonish #27 (January 1962). This Silver Age version is primarily known as Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym, a brilliant scientist who discovers "Pym Particles."

These particles allow him to shrink himself down to the size of an insect while retaining his strength. Pym initially uses this ability for scientific exploration and problem-solving, inventing a cybernetic helmet that allows him to communicate with ants.

He then adopts the superhero identity of Ant-Man, fighting crime and injustice. While Pym is the original Ant-Man, others, like Scott Lang, have also assumed the mantle throughout Marvel Comics history.
