Moon Knight is a Marvel Comics character, adapted for the screen as a central protagonist of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) TV Show, Moon Knight.
The character, named Marc Spector, appears to be a man suffering from dissociative identity disorder. He is chosen as the avatar of the Egyptian moon god Khonshu.
In the TV Show Moon Knight his identities include Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift shop employee. As Khonshu's avatar, he is given enhanced abilities and compelled to carry out the god's will. He sports a distinctive cape, the 'Cape', as part of his super hero identity as Moon Knight.
