Moon Knight, also known as Marc Spector, is a complex Marvel character recently brought to life in the Disney+ television series. The show presents him as a former U.S. Marine with dissociative identity disorder (DID).
One of his identities is Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift shop employee with a passion for Egyptology. Another alter is Jake Lockley, a cab driver. Marc's primary identity, Moon Knight, serves as the avatar of Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon. Khonshu tasks Marc with protecting the vulnerable and enacting vengeance.
