Marc Spector, also known as Moon Knight, is a complex character within the Marvel Universe. He first appeared in *Werewolf by Night* #32 (August 1975).
Spector is a mercenary who, after being left for dead in Egypt, is revived by the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. He becomes Khonshu's avatar on Earth, fighting crime and delivering justice.
Moon Knight is often depicted with multiple identities, including millionaire Steven Grant and cab driver Jake Lockley. These identities can sometimes fracture, blurring the lines between reality and delusion. The Moon Crusader is considered among the hero aliases he possesses.
