Moon Knight is a Marvel Comics character first appearing in Werewolf by Night #32 (August 1975). Marc Spector, the character's primary identity, is a Jewish-American mercenary who, after a near-death experience in Egypt, becomes the avatar of the Egyptian moon god Khonshu.
