Power Ring is a supervillain from DC Comics, specifically a corrupted version of Green Lantern.

He originates from Earth-3, a parallel world where morality is inverted and the heroic Justice League is replaced by the villainous Crime Syndicate of America. Power Ring is the evil counterpart to Hal Jordan.

The Silver Age version of Power Ring first appeared in Justice League of America #29 (August 1964). His power source isn't willpower, but a magic ring inhabited by an evil entity named Volthoom, who constantly torments and controls the ring's wearer.
