Pietro Maximoff, also known as Quicksilver, is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He first appeared in a mid-credits scene of the film *Captain America: The Winter Soldier* (2014), portrayed by actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Quicksilver, along with his twin sister Wanda (Scarlet Witch), gained superhuman abilities through experimentation involving the Mind Stone. His primary power is superhuman speed, allowing him to move, think, and react at incredible velocities.
While the bighead version of the character is likely a humorous reference to a stylized depiction, the MCU's Quicksilver is generally portrayed as serious and protective of his sister.
