Pietro Maximoff, also known as Quicksilver, is a character featured in the X-Men Cinematic Universe (XCU). He is renowned for his superhuman speed, allowing him to move, think, and perceive the world at incredible velocities.
The XCU version of Quicksilver made his first appearance in the film *X-Men: Days of Future Past* (2014). In this continuity, he is depicted as the son of Magneto, although he is initially unaware of this familial connection.
He joins forces with the X-Men to help avert a catastrophic future, using his powers to aid in rescuing Magneto from the Pentagon. Quicksilver's light-hearted personality and impressive displays of speed made him a memorable character in the X-Men films.
