Biography:
Pietro Maximoff, also known as Quicksilver, was a superhuman individual encountered by the Avengers during the conflict with HYDRA in Sokovia. Born alongside his twin sister, Wanda, Pietro was subjected to experimentation using the Mind Stone by Baron Wolfgang von Strucker. These experiments imbued him with the ability to move at superhuman speeds.

Driven by a desire for revenge against Tony Stark for the bombings that plagued their childhood, Pietro and Wanda initially allied themselves with Ultron. However, they eventually realized Ultron's destructive intentions and switched their allegiance to the Avengers.

During the Battle of Sokovia, Quicksilver used his speed to evacuate civilians and ultimately sacrificed himself to save Hawkeye and a young boy from a barrage of bullets fired by Ultron's sentries. His actions proved instrumental in the Avengers' victory and solidified his place as a hero.
