Jason Voorhees is a central character in the long-running Horror film franchise, Fridaythe. Known as the HockeyMaskHunter, he is a seemingly unstoppable killing machine.
Jason's first physical appearance (as a child) was in *Fridaythe* (1980), although his role as the primary antagonist wasn't fully realized until later films. Initially, his mother, Pamela Voorhees, was the killer, seeking revenge for Jason's apparent drowning at Camp Crystal Lake.
Jason is commonly depicted wearing a hockey mask, which became his signature look. He stalks and kills anyone who trespasses on his territory, often utilizing various weapons, including his iconic machete. He has received a remake in the film *Fridaythe* (2009).
