Biography:
Jason Voorhees is the primary antagonist of the Friday the 13th horror franchise. He is a nearly unkillable figure known for his hockey mask and machete.
While not the killer, Jason first appears as a child in Friday the 13th (1980). He is depicted in a flashback as drowning in Camp Crystal Lake due to the negligence of the camp counselors.
Fueled by his mother's initial rampage in the first film, and later his own resurrection, Jason seeks revenge on anyone who enters or threatens Crystal Lake.
Over the course of the series, Jason's characteristics evolve, becoming increasingly supernatural and resilient to injury, solidifying his place as an iconic horror figure.
