Biography:
The Iron Patriot is a character primarily associated with the Marvel Comics universe. The persona has been adopted by multiple characters, but is most notably associated with Norman Osborn.
Osborn, formerly the Green Goblin, seized control of S.H.I.E.L.D. after the Skrull invasion during the "Secret Invasion" storyline. He rebranded it as H.A.M.M.E.R. and formed his own team of Avengers, the "Dark Avengers." He crafted the Iron Patriot armor, a suit of advanced technology designed to resemble Captain America's costume but with a darker, more militaristic aesthetic.
As Iron Patriot, Osborn leveraged his newfound authority and the armor's capabilities to present a heroic public image, masking his unstable and villainous nature. The suit granted him flight, enhanced strength, energy projection, and a variety of advanced weaponry.
Subsequent to Osborn's tenure, other characters have briefly adopted the Iron Patriot mantle, often under less malevolent circumstances.
