The Iron Patriot armor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is prominently associated with James Rhodes, also known as War Machine.

In the film *Iron Man 3*, after the events of *The Avengers*, Rhodes, portrayed by Don Cheadle, is seen piloting a redesigned War Machine armor. This armor is rebranded as the Iron Patriot, bearing a distinctive red, white, and blue color scheme.

The Iron Patriot armor is presented as a symbol of American strength and is used by the government for public relations purposes. However, the suit's control is eventually seized by the film's antagonist, Aldrich Killian.
