Biography:
Alex Murphy, later known as Robocop, first appeared in the 1987 film *Robocop*. He was a police officer brutally murdered in the line of duty while serving with the Detroit Police Department.
Cyberdyne Systems (OCP) resurrects Murphy as a cyborg law enforcement unit. While initially programmed with directives and memories suppressed, Robocop gradually regains fragments of his past life as Alex Murphy. He retains his skills and determination to uphold the law.
Robocop's prime directives guide his actions, but a struggle ensues as he reconciles his programming with his humanity. He targets the criminals responsible for his death, seeking justice and grappling with his new existence as a machine with a human soul.
