Alex Murphy, portrayed by Peter Weller, is Robocop, a cyborg law enforcement officer first appearing in the 1987 film RoboCop. Murphy was originally a dedicated police officer in a crime-ridden Detroit.
Following a brutal death at the hands of a criminal gang, Murphy's body is recovered by Omni Consumer Products (OCP). OCP transforms him into Robocop, an emotionless, heavily armored cyborg programmed to serve and protect.
As Robocop, Murphy possesses enhanced strength, speed, and advanced weaponry. However, fragments of his former life and memories resurface, leading him on a quest for justice and revenge against those responsible for his death, while struggling with his lost humanity.
