Biography:
The "All New All Different" era Iron Fist refers to the incarnation of Danny Rand following Marvel's 2015 Secret Wars event. He remains the protector of K'un-Lun and wielder of the Iron Fist, a mystical power allowing him to channel his chi into superhuman strength and invulnerability.
His first appearance was in Marvel Premiere #15 (May 1974). Rand, after witnessing his father's death, was taken in by the people of K'un-Lun. He trained to become a living weapon.
The All New All Different version isn't a significant departure in origin or powers from earlier iterations. He continues his role as a martial arts hero, often teaming up with Luke Cage as part of the Heroes for Hire. He also battles various mystical threats and faces personal struggles related to his responsibilities as the Iron Fist.
