Biography:

Benjamin "Ben" Grimm, also known as Thing, is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is a founding member of the Fantastic Four.

Thing's first appearance was in *Fantastic Four* #1 (November 1961). During an unauthorized space flight, cosmic rays transformed him into a monstrous, rock-like being with immense strength and durability. Though initially bitter about his condition, he becomes the heart and soul of the team.

He is known for his gruff exterior, but secretly desires a return to his human form. Despite the struggles, Thing remains a loyal and courageous hero.
