Future Flash, also known as Savitar, is a character featured in the third season of The CW's television series, The Flash. He is a time remnant of Barry Allen, the Flash, created during a battle with Savitar in the future.
Haunted by the trauma of being ostracized by Team Flash after his creation and subsequent survival, this remnant traveled back in time and adopted the identity of Savitar, the self-proclaimed "God of Speed."
Driven by immense pain and a desire to become a true god, Savitar manipulated events in the past to ensure his own creation and the death of Iris West. His ultimate goal was to fragment himself across all of time, solidifying his godhood and erasing his past suffering.
Ultimately, Savitar's plan was thwarted by the Flash and Team Flash, and he was erased from existence by Iris West, preventing his future self from ever solidifying.
