Jay Garrick, portrayed by John Wesley Shipp, is The Flash in The CW's Arrowverse. He is from Earth-3, a different parallel world than the one where Barry Allen (The Flash) resides. Garrick's Flash is based on the Golden Age Flash from DC Comics.
He originally appears in the TV Show, *The Flash* (Season 2, Episode 2 - "Flash of Two Worlds"). He initially presents himself as a doppelganger of Barry's deceased father, Henry Allen.
