Flash (Blackest Night) refers to the reanimated corpse of Barry Allen, a former Central City police scientist and the Silver Age Flash, during the DC Comics' "Blackest Night" event.
Following Barry's heroic sacrifice during Crisis on Infinite Earths, his remains resided in a mausoleum in Valhalla Cemetery, designated for fallen heroes. During the Blackest Night, Nekron, the embodiment of death, resurrected Barry as a Black Lantern, fueled by the black power rings and emotions of the deceased.
As a Black Lantern, Barry's primary objective was to generate emotional energy for the Black Lantern Corps, specifically targeting his former allies, including Hal Jordan (Green Lantern) and Wally West (Kid Flash, who had taken up the mantle of the Flash). He used his knowledge of their vulnerabilities and deepest fears against them, attempting to convert them into Black Lanterns as well.
Ultimately, Barry's Black Lantern form was defeated, allowing him to be resurrected fully and permanently into the White Lantern Corps, playing a vital role in defeating Nekron and ending the Blackest Night.
