Biography:

Norman Osborn, portrayed by Willem Dafoe, is the Green Goblin in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movie (2002). A brilliant scientist and CEO of Oscorp, Osborn seeks to secure a military contract by experimenting on himself with an unstable performance-enhancing serum.

The serum enhances his physical abilities and intellect but also fractures his mind, creating an alternate, homicidal personality: the Green Goblin. Equipped with advanced Oscorp technology like a glider and pumpkin bombs, the Goblin terrorizes New York City.

He views Spider-Man as both an obstacle and a kindred spirit, attempting to corrupt him. Ultimately, Osborn/Green Goblin is defeated by Spider-Man in a climactic battle.
