Biography:

Norman Osborn, portrayed by Willem Dafoe, is the primary antagonist of the 2002 film Spider-Man. He is a brilliant but unstable scientist and the CEO of Oscorp, a major military contractor.

Facing financial ruin and the loss of his company, Osborn experiments on himself with an unstable performance-enhancing serum. This serum dramatically increases his strength and intellect but also fractures his mind, creating an alternate personality: the Green Goblin.

As the Green Goblin, Osborn dons a green armored suit, wields pumpkin bombs, and terrorizes New York City. He first appears in the film during a board meeting for Oscorp, flying through the window and destroying equipment.

Driven by ego and madness, the Green Goblin quickly becomes Spider-Man's archenemy, representing a dark reflection of Peter Parker's own newfound power and responsibility. The Green Goblin is ultimately defeated by Spider-Man in a climactic battle, seemingly meeting his demise.
