Biography:

The Green Goblin, a villainous persona in Marvel Comics, first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #14 in 1964.

While several characters have adopted the Green Goblin mantle, the most well-known is Norman Osborn. In the comics, Osborn gained enhanced strength, speed, and intellect after being exposed to the "Goblin Formula." However, the formula also drove him insane, leading him to adopt the Green Goblin identity and become one of Spider-Man's greatest enemies.

Osborn's Green Goblin is typically depicted wearing a green costume with a grotesque goblin mask, wielding pumpkin bombs and riding a Goblin Glider. He has been a recurring threat to Spider-Man and others in the Marvel Universe.
