Harry Osborn is a Marvel character featured in the film The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), portrayed by Dane DeHaan.
Osborn, heir to Oscorp, returns to New York City after years abroad. He seeks out his childhood friend, Peter Parker, but also learns he is terminally ill with the same genetic disease that afflicted his father, Norman Osborn. Believing Spider-Man's blood holds the key to a cure, Harry demands a transfusion.
When Spider-Man refuses, fearing the potential consequences, a desperate Harry injects himself with a prototype Oscorp bio-serum. This transforms him into the Green Goblin, a physically enhanced and mentally unstable villain. He uses Oscorp technology, including a glider and specialized weaponry, to exact revenge on Spider-Man, blaming him for his condition. His actions lead to the death of Gwen Stacy.
