The Green Goblin is a villainous character from Marvel Comics, primarily associated with Spider-Man.

The original and most well-known Green Goblin is Norman Osborn. Osborn is a brilliant but unstable scientist and businessman who subjects himself to an experimental formula in an attempt to increase his intellect and physical abilities. The formula enhances his powers but also drives him insane, transforming him into the Green Goblin.

As the Green Goblin, Osborn dons a grotesque goblin mask, a green and purple costume, and rides a high-tech glider called the "Goblin Glider," which is equipped with various weapons. He possesses enhanced strength, speed, and agility, and uses pumpkin bombs, razor bats, and other dangerous gadgets. The character is a staple in Marvel media.

The character first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #14 (July 1964).
