Biography:

Green Goblin is a supervillain appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily as an adversary of Spider-Man. The character was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko and first appeared in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #14 (July 1964).

While several characters have donned the Green Goblin mantle, the most well-known is Norman Osborn. Osborn, a wealthy industrialist and scientist, ingests a chemical formula that enhances his physical and mental abilities but also drives him insane.

As the Green Goblin, Osborn utilizes a glider, pumpkin bombs, and other gadgets to terrorize New York City. His motivations often revolve around acquiring power and destroying Spider-Man, whom he sees as a threat.
