Vacation Thor, also known as Bro Thor, is a version of Thor Odinson introduced in Marvel Studios' film Avengers: Endgame. This portrayal departs significantly from the traditionally stoic and muscular Asgardian warrior seen in previous films.

Following the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War and his failure to prevent Thanos from wiping out half of all life, Thor retreated to New Asgard on Earth. Consumed by grief and self-blame, he allowed himself to become physically unkempt, overweight, and disillusioned.

He spends his days playing video games, drinking beer, and largely ignoring his responsibilities. This version of Thor is characterized by his long hair, unkempt beard, significant weight gain, and casual attire consisting of a robe and sunglasses.

Despite his changed appearance and behavior, Vacation Thor retains his inherent power and eventually rejoins the Avengers to participate in the Time Heist and ultimately defeat Thanos. While his appearance drew mixed reactions from fans, it also highlighted the profound impact of trauma and loss on even the most powerful beings.
