Biography:

Thor, the God of Thunder, is a prominent figure in the Marvel Universe. His first appearance was in Journey into Mystery #83 (August 1962).

He is the son of Odin, the Allfather of Asgard, and Gaea, the Earth goddess. Thor wields the enchanted hammer Mjolnir, granting him the power to summon storms, fly, and control the elements.

Banished to Earth by Odin to learn humility, Thor initially lived as a mortal doctor named Donald Blake. Striking his cane on the ground transformed him back into the Asgardian warrior. He became a founding member of the Avengers, defending Earth from numerous threats.

Thor possesses superhuman strength, durability, and longevity. He is a skilled warrior and a noble hero, often struggling with the responsibilities of his immense power and his connection to both Asgard and Earth.
