Ragnarok is a cyborg clone of Thor created by Tony Stark, Reed Richards, and Hank Pym during the "Civil War" storyline in Marvel Comics. He was intended as a fail-safe to protect Earth should Thor become a threat.

Lacking a true soul and inherent worthiness, Ragnarok was unable to wield the genuine Mjolnir. Instead, he was given a replica hammer powered by Odinforce energy. This weapon, while powerful, proved volatile and less effective than the original.

He played a key role in the "Secret Invasion" event, revealing himself as a double agent for the Skrulls. This betrayal cemented his reputation as a dangerous and unpredictable character.

Despite his artificial origins and villainous actions, Ragnarok possesses Thor's immense strength, durability, and energy projection abilities. He represents the dangers of tampering with forces beyond human comprehension and the ethical considerations of creating life for purely strategic purposes.
