Poison Ivy is a fictional character appearing in DC Comics, created by Robert Kanigher and Sheldon Moldoff. Her first appearance was in Batman #181 (June 1966).

Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley, a botanist, was experimented on by Dr. Jason Woodrue (also known as the Floronic Man) which granted her toxic blood, poisonous touch, and control over plant life. This transformation turned her into the eco-terrorist known as Poison Ivy.

In The Lego Batman Movie, Poison Ivy is portrayed as a prominent villain amongst the rogues gallery of Batman enemies, often associating and teaming up with other villains like Harley Quinn to cause chaos in Gotham City.
