Biography:
Roy William Harper Jr. is a fictional character in The CW's television series, Arrow, inspired by the DC Comics character of the same name. He is portrayed by actor Colton Haynes.
Roy first appears as a troubled street kid in Starling City, known for his pickpocketing skills and connection to Thea Queen. Their relationship provides him with a sense of stability, but also draws him into the dangerous world of the Arrow.
He becomes obsessed with the Arrow's vigilante activities and eventually learns Oliver Queen's secret. Roy is later injected with Mirakuru, granting him enhanced strength and healing but also inducing violent tendencies. Oliver takes Roy under his wing, training him to control his abilities and use them for good.
He becomes a member of Team Arrow, adopting the codename "Arsenal." He fights alongside Oliver and the team, protecting Starling City. He eventually fakes his own death to protect Oliver's identity as the Green Arrow and leaves the city. He later returns to assist the team on several occasions.
