Biography:
Roy William Harper, known as Arsenal or Red Arrow, is a character featured in The CW's Arrowverse, primarily within the TV show *Arrow*. He first appeared in season *Arrow* season 1 episode 21, "Vendetta" as a street kid taken in by Oliver Queen.
Initially, Roy's life is changed after Oliver (The Arrow) saves him. He becomes involved in vigilante activities, eventually becoming Oliver's protégé and partner. He trains extensively and fights crime alongside Team Arrow.
Portrayed by actor Colton Haynes, Roy gains enhanced abilities through the Mirakuru serum, later cured. He takes on the persona of Arsenal, fighting alongside Green Arrow and other members of the team. To protect Oliver, Roy eventually fakes his death and leaves Starling City. He makes later appearances, aiding the team when needed and eventually returns to become a full member of the team again, before leaving to be with his family.
