Biography:
Roy William Harper Jr., known as Arsenal, is a vigilante and former member of Team Arrow on the CW's "Arrow." He's portrayed by Colton Haynes.
Roy begins as a street thief in Starling City, encountering and eventually being saved by Oliver Queen (Green Arrow). Inspired by the vigilante, he tries to emulate him, drawing Oliver's attention.
Oliver takes Roy under his wing, training him in archery and combat. Roy's transformation to Arsenal is accelerated and complicated when he's injected with Mirakuru, a super-soldier serum, granting him enhanced strength and agility but also instability.
He fights alongside Team Arrow, grappling with his Mirakuru-induced rage and struggling to control his powers. Eventually, Roy leaves the team to protect Oliver and his loved ones from the consequences of his past actions. He periodically returns to Starling City/Star City to aid his friends.
