Arsenal, portrayed by Colton Haynes, is a recurring character in The CW's "Arrowverse," primarily within the series Arrow. He first appears in the "Year's End" episode of season one as Roy Harper.
Initially a street thief in Starling City, Roy's life changes after being saved by the Arrow (Oliver Queen). Inspired by the vigilante, he develops a relationship with Oliver's sister, Thea Queen, and eventually becomes part of Team Arrow.
Roy gains enhanced abilities after being injected with Mirakuru. This leads to a period of rage and instability, which he later overcomes with Oliver's help. He trains to control his powers and becomes a skilled archer and fighter, adopting the moniker Arsenal.
To protect Oliver, Roy later fakes his death and leaves Starling City. He returns periodically to assist Team Arrow in various crises, demonstrating his continued dedication to protecting the city.
