Biography:
Roy Harper, known as Arsenal, is a fictional character within The CW's "Arrowverse." He first appeared in the TV show Arrow in the episode "Lone Gunman" (Season 1, Episode 16).
Initially a street criminal, Roy is taken under the wing of Oliver Queen (Green Arrow) and trained as a vigilante. He becomes a valuable member of Team Arrow, fighting alongside Oliver and others to protect Starling City (later Star City).
Roy takes on the moniker "Arsenal" after a period of using the codename "Speedy" and struggles with the aftereffects of Mirakuru, a super-soldier serum. He eventually leaves the team to forge his own path and deal with his inner demons, returning occasionally to assist his former allies.
